Ford Aussie Hoops is the best place to start your basketball journey and a great way to make new friends!

Ford Aussie Hoops is the perfect place for children to begin their basketball journey in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. The program focuses on building confidence, developing fundamental basketball skills, and making new friends along the way.

All sessions are delivered by experienced and accredited basketball coaches who are passionate about helping kids learn and enjoy the game.

Who is Aussie Hoops for?

Aussie Hoops is open to boys and girls aged 5–13 years, catering for beginners as well as children looking to further develop their skills in a structured, engaging setting.

Through age-appropriate drills and game-based activities, participants will:

• Learn and develop core basketball skills
• Build confidence and coordination
• Develop a love for the game in a fun, inclusive environment

Term 4, 2026

Monday 5 October – Friday 18 December

4 Sessions To Choose From:

• Monday 4:30 – 5:30 PM
• Tuesday 4:30 – 5:30 PM
• Friday 4:30 – 5:30 PM
• Saturday 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

$110.00 per child (not including $10.50 registration fee). Just choose the day that suits you best!

Please note — Term 4 session dates

There are no sessions on the following dates:

• Tuesday 3 November — Melbourne Cup Day
• Saturday 31 October — Melbourne Cup long weekend
• Saturday 7 November — the stadium is hosting the Craigieburn Tip-Off Tournament

Saturday sessions conclude on Saturday 12 December.

Saturday and Tuesday participants are offered make-up sessions in one of our weekday groups, so every participant receives the same number of sessions across the term. Make-up sessions can be booked in any week of the term and must be booked in advance by emailing comeandplay@craigieburneagles.com.au so we can confirm your place.

Location

Sessions are held at Craigieburn Basketball Stadium.
