REFEREES AT CBA

Referees are at the heart of every game played at Craigieburn Basketball Association. They keep our competitions fair, safe and enjoyable for every player on court, and we're always looking to grow our team.

Whether you're picking up the whistle for the first time or you already officiate elsewhere, we'd love to hear from you.

NEW TO REFEREEING?

No experience is needed to get started. Through our Referee School, you'll receive the training and support to build your confidence on court. Applicants aged 14 and over are welcome.

ALREADY A REFEREE?

Many referees officiate across multiple associations. If you'd like to pick up games at CBA alongside your current commitments, register your interest and we'll be in touch.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Applicants 18 and over need a valid Working with Children Check, or an exemption as a VIT-registered teacher or police officer.
• Applicants under 18 need a parent or guardian's details and consent.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Once you've registered, a member of our referee team will contact you with next steps, including details of the next Referee School intake for new referees.
