CRAIGIEBURN residents will soon be stealing, dunking and shooting threes as the area’s leisure centre revamp ramps up. Construction of the $5.5 million basketball stadium extension at the Craigieburn Leisure Centre is ahead of schedule and set to be finished before the end of the year. Last week, Hume Mayor Helen Patsikatheodorou joined young residents Josh, Paul, Breannan, Emma and Jackson to give the new facilities a trial-run.
